A Family Picnic

Sometime between Christmas and New Year (I've lost track of days) we had a family picnic. Not with one individual family, but with three small families; Matt and Stefania with daughter, Giorgia, Ali and Carter with baby, Jenson and Paul and me with puppy Myf.

It was a lovely day for a picnic in the Botanic Gardens. The weather was perfect and the gardens weren't too crowded. It was such a great way to relax in what can be a very hectic time of year.

Each family had a little one to take care of, so at any one time Matt or Stefania would be running after Giorgia, Ali or Carter would be trying to settle Jenson and either myself or Paul would be trying to prevent Myf from eating the entire picnic. Sounds like lots of work, but it really was fun.

So here are some of the snaps from the day.

These babies were built for off roading!

I know I've said this before, but it has to be said again, Giorgia has the cutest expressions.

I think this looks like the 'paparazzi, get out of my face' expression, but it is followed by a big smile.

I'm bored! When do I get to run around off the lead, Mum?

  1. Sometimes the simplest days out are the best! It was the perfect temperature to be sitting outside and of course the company was great!! And the botanic gardens were looking spectacular, they really are such a fantastic place to visit, so peaceful and relaxing whilst still so close to the city. Something we should do more regularly.
