A New Addition to the Family

Paul and I will be getting a new puppy at the end of March. Our baby girl has been born and had her 6 week vaccinations. We had some photos of the 3 girls that we could choose from. Now how on earth can you pick from these pics?

Aren't they just the cutest little things? They are all far too adorable to choose between them!

So when we return home from Coffin Bay in March, one of these darling little puppies will be coming with us and keeping Myf on her toes. To say I can't wait would be a complete understatement!!

  4. They are SOOO gorgeous. I'm already in love. She'll be called Morgan and I'm sure she'll get up to much mischief.

  5. When do you actually have to pick? Have you been to see them? I'd go for the one on the far right too. She seems to have more 'bone' in her forelegs and a nice width of muzzle.
Are the breeders near you or do you have to transport her to your place?

Whoever you pick I'm sure she'll be a great addition to your home. Myf is a very friendly, social dog (from what I've seen) and I'm sure she'll love her new full-time playmate.

  6. We haven't visited. They live in Adelaide. :(
Myf's breeders are sending us the photos. We've stayed in touch with them and this litter is from one of their pups, so even though this isn't their litter as such, we're pretty confident we'll get a good pup out of it.

We're picking her up when we go to Adelaide on holiday in March. I can't wait. I'm sure that she and Myf will get along really well, but it'll probably take a while for them to get used to each other.

  7. Have the breeders put any restrictions on her like a 'limited register' or that she has to be de-sexed?

  8. What's a limited register?

Myf was the only female in her litter, so we had to wait to see if she was breeding quality before we had her desexed. I don't think we'll have to do that again because there were 4 females in the litter and they've obviously chosen one for themselves already.
I don't think we'll be allowed to show her, but we have no intention of doing that. She's just a companion and we don't want to breed her or show her.

Incidentally, we said although we had no preference as such, we like the look of the middle one. She has no personal space issues, which is important with Myf (lol) and I like the colouring on her face. Myf has a very white face, so she'll be the opposite and the little white streak on the top of the head is similar to Myf's.
