More Jenson

Yesterday we went to Ali and Carter's for a non-Christmas themed BBQ with some work friends. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon and great to catch up with everyone.

Paul and I had to rush to leave early because we were going to the ballet in the evening, so I didn't get round to taking any group shots. I'm afraid all the pics are of Jenson and Carter but at least Jenson is a cooperative subject.

I can't believe how much he's changed since we last saw him. It feels like only a couple of weeks ago, but when I think about it, it's closer to a month and a half. In that time he's started smiling and has so many more expressions and is much more alert and interactive. It must be amazing watching him grow and change every day.

Ali and Carter are very much in love with their baby. Carter is totally smitten. You can tell the minute you see him with Jenson that he's head over heels. They're both very laid back parents as I guess you would expect from them and they seem even more settled since we last saw them. I think everything's just clicked for them.

So anyway, here's what everyone's come to see... the photos:

Not only does he smile, but he already has different types of smiles. Here's the cheeky one.

  1. Rhiannon, the photos you take (this set and the last set) are hands down the best we have of him. Thanks for always taking and sharing the photos.

Not only are you talented with a camera, you're clearly also talented with your cooking and baking -- just look at those Christmas cookies! I'm almost inclined to save them instead of eat them cause they're so pretty.

Great to see you guys yesterday. See you soon.

  2. Thank you!

Don't you even think about saving the sweets. They were made for eating, not looking at ;)

Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.
