It's all in the preparation

I'm blogging from my new house!
Today we're washing the walls in preparation for painting. Unfortunately the house hasn't been left in a state that I would call clean, so we're going to have to get cleaners through at some point before we move in.

    It looks wonderful! The wood floors are beautiful. Is it close to where you both work? Is that a garage tucked under your upstairs?

    Yes we do have a garage, which is great, because parking spaces seem to be in high demand in the area.
    It's close to where I work and not too far from where Paul works. It will probably be a 10-15 minute tram ride into work for me (almost door to door) and about a 20-25 minute journey for Paul.
